Art Semester II 3D Syllabus [email protected] Tohatchi High School 2020-21 Art students will continue developing their style and understand the different strategies for creating an original work of art. Students will answer the New Mexico Standards as questions. Student will apply the Principles of Design art works by identifying theme, style and intent of works of art from different time periods and geographic locations. We will write Analytical Rubrics and understand demonstrate and sculpting with clay. Students will demonstrate the additive process and ceramics, wood working, metals and weaving.Guided Discussions will include: installation art, James Luna, AGPRA and Hopi Masks. Students will complete a comparative, analytical research paper and discuss aesthetics and competitions.
